Situated by the canal side, our café is a friendly and inviting open plan space. Here you can watch the bakers at work scaling, shaping and baking a variety of breads, whilst maintaining the 24-hour artisan cycle. The lively and energetic atmosphere of the workspace is accompanied by the enticing aromas of freshly baked bread and patisserie wafting over to the tables and seats in the café area. We serve a tempting range of freshly made soups, salads, sandwiches and cakes. We choose the best quality ingredients and actively source from producers and suppliers that we know and trust, as well as using the fresh produce from our very own kitchen garden. All of our food is made on the premises and we use our delicious bread of course throughout the menu.
Get here early and catch the day’s croissants, almond croissants and pulla buns as they emerge from the ovens, at the weekends we have pain au chocolat and pain aux raisins. Also keep an eye out for different viennoiserie specials throughout the year. Our wide range of barista poured coffees from Dark Woods Coffee make an excellent partner or you can also indulge in a variety of leaf teas. At lunch times the bakery gears up for the popular offering of savoury Danish rolls amongst other appetizing hot and savoury fare. Our irresistible cake range is well known to our customers, but you’ll often find new creations cropping up between stalwarts such as our chocolate Guinness cake, baked Polish cheesecake and the alluringly citrus tang of the Tunisian orange cake.
We are very cycle friendly. There is ample space for bikes outside and locks are provided.
